I am Magneto.  I - AM - MAGNETO. The X-Men needed a new direction.  I am finding that this direction is still me.  The dream of harmony between man and mutant; it isn't possible.  I never really thought it was.  And now is my time to do what is necessary.  What is necessary, is that I push aside the thought that we will ever be in harmony with those who hate and fear us.  At the same time, the dreams of the old Magneto, the dream of taking over the world and enslaving humans so that homo superior could thrive, is over reactionary.  It is a surefire route to extinction.  The team is solid.  With Mystique as the Field Captain, I believe they will go far.  She's finally falling into her own now that Wolverine has gone.
